I served 7 months with the 79th QM CO of the 419th BN Water support for the XVIII Airborne Corps. I suffer from Post Tramtic Stress Disorder, Bipolar Disorder , skin cancer as well as symtoms of abnormal hair loss and chronic acne like skin rashs. I was denied my claim in 1994 and have suffered the pain of seeking reliable help for both my mental and physical health. The time is now for united action of veterans, family members who support us and share our pain, grief and sorrow and all Americians who care about soliders as people. We MUST demand the truth without lined out markers over the critical details. There in truth, JUSTICE can rule. To provide the means for soldiers to heal, grieve and grow strong. This Thursday at Ft. Lewis, Washington Veterans will be allowed to testify their personal saga. Everyone concerned needes to join us in solidarity as we seek justice for all soldiers. Let the Commander-In-Chief and every elected offical know we are watching them. We demand accountability form them in the name of JUSTICE. Call, write, fax, email. BLITZ, BLITZ, BLITZ: NO MORE LIES!!!

Lightning Troop 3/2 ACR. 88-91. They used to say "If you aint CAV you aint censored" I used to say " If you aint CAV you got OVER". Just got done reading all the resonses on this web site. There is an obvious contrast of two different types of people. Those who appreciate the service of this countries veterans and those who dont. Ironic how those who dont appreciate vets get to partake in all the freedoms that the vets worked for. Oh well such is America today "The land of the greedy, the selfish, the proud and the brave". Let it be. But be warned if China should attack or another adversary. The only thing between you being faced with speaking Chineese or keeping your english tongue will be those who stand up to be counted as those who defend our freedom. certainly not the clinton's or the gore's, they are by textbook definition Cowards. These two men represent the bad apples in our country who have weezled their way into power and stand and criticize those who provided their footstool. Once again, fine, as for me and my house I am thankful for what these vets, these patriots, these freedom winners, these men/women who answered the call and accepted the challenge all the way back to the 17th century to the brand new enlistee today. Those people, those standard bearers, they are what this country is really all about. Truism, teamwork, duty, honor, country, sacrifice, and most of all selflessness not selfishness! CAV Out.
Enjoyed the BBQ Camel!
I am veteran of the war and I find it very disturbing to find the one sided opinions of many people out there. Some of you who live in a country that has the freedom of the United States and dare to question the way we up hold that freedom is apalling. If you will go to the many third world countries you will find that you do not even have the privilidge of even opinionating like you have on this web site. I Was fresh out of boot camp and my MOS training school as a reservist. I gave up the freedom of everyday living and the joy of watching My new wife go through our forst pregnancy to fight against the Iraqi goverment as they put thier stronghold on a small and defenseless Kuwait. I was privelidged and honored to fight with my fellow countrymen and many other nations from around the world to free and liberate Kuwait, who did nothing wrong except border a country with a leader who cares nothing for human life. A leader who would probably sacrafice the lives of his highest advisers to gain what he wants. I am sorry to rant, but this is what I saw 10 years ago at the start of the Gulf war and this is what I still see. Semper Fi. 1/25 Comm Plt.*WARDEN*
Served during the gulf war as a Sergeant and Forward Observer for C Co. 3/504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. In the next message below I have listed a poem for all to read. It didn't come out with proper paragraph structure on this message board, but you will get the point. :)
Remembering Their All A Poem by Colleen Reddaway Many have walked a path, a jagged road Leading to tears of peace entwined with fears. These times were not their chosen ways, But soldiers took their stand The breezes of war, kiss their brow Made the young old before their time …and others ageless from the sound of reapers in the field. They lived in a time of unfamiliar boundaries Life made up of loyalty to our country and forced survival. Preserving independence, rights and liberties Freedom redeemed at countless costs. Common men and women performing uncommon acts of valor Leaving behind all they have ever known …family, friends, jobs and motherland. Masses went, to fight upon foreign soils Their faces have been forgotten, But the wounds, the pains and the cries remain. Tired eyes mourning from within, looking out at Blood covered promises and sorrow worn victories. Searching for, yet not wanting to find, …buddies that have fallen, the victims of war. Pride in serving, the pain in remembering Colors of the crimson soaked sod and blurred visions of the mind. How thankful we should be, we should sing the tune of memories Of forgotten heroes standing at past history’s door They went and came home, many returned in part… Let us remember those who returned in lifeless form …and never stop looking for those labeled M.I.A. and P.O.W. Memorial Day, a time to pay tribute for the ultimate sacrifice. Celebrate with your picnics, beach outings and reunions, But teach your children about the sacrifices made, Pride in the United States and the courage of the past. Men and women, no matter how large or small the part, Left their all behind, footprints of war imprinted in the annals of time. Let us give them bittersweet honor of a hero-respect …and heartrending thanks.
IT DOESN'T SEEM LIKE 10 YRS. HAS PAST. THE PAIN OF OUR LOST LOVED ONE IS STILL SO VERY FRESH IN OUR HEART AND MEMORY.LET THERE MOMENT OF SILENCE FOR ALL THOSE WHO DIED AND TO ALL THOSE WHO SERVED.

Great War! and Cool Site!
Gulf War Vet. 5th Bn 11th Marines 1st Marine Division.
I am a member of the USAF and currently working on a 10 year anniversary ceremony for those patrons who were the first to deploy in 1990. This web page has supplied me with some wonderful links to use to make this occasion a memorable one. Thank you.
A really great site on a really important historical subject. Congratulations for the good work.
Your site is very informative and is very user freindly. Content is very touching.
My son Barry Healan served honorably in the Gulf War aboard U.S.S America. Thank you for honoring him and all the others in this way. A devoted Mom
I believe all you war panzies should shut up and listen, War is what this stinking world has come to and that is how it shall end, so let it be and be done and over with, so shut up about..I HATE WAR!!....IT'S NOT GONNA WORK, all these luniatic bastards like Saddam are gonna keep it going, so I say KICK ASS and bomb the censored out of him, my father was in, 8\23rd Red Horse, out of Hulbert Field, Flordia, so I say War should be taken seriously and not as a joke, think people, has it ever stopped? Will it stop? Not untill it's all gone...
I was an Infantryman with the 101st Airborne, 502nd Strike Infantry in Desert Shield/Storm. Never fired a shot or even saw any Iraqis (but still got my CIB). Found it quite amusing to read through this guestbook, lots of antiwar propaganda in here. I wouldn't be surprised if some of it was written by the Iraqi goverment or military. UP YOURS!!! We went easy on you, and we showed far more mercy than what you gave to the people of Kuwait. I don't care if people think we were wrong to fight that war, what Iraq did was infinitely worse! They were the butchers, not the coalition. Hard to believe it's been 10 years since it all began. My only regret is that we didn't finish the job and conquer Baghdad, and drag Saddam out into the street and shoot him in the head. He is just as evil as Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, Ho Chi Minh, Fidel Castro, Kim Il Sung...the list goes on and on. These men and their countries are responsible for the murder and genocide of MILLIONS of human beings who didn't do anything to deserve it. Why is the USA always being painted as the villians of history? We've done more to help the world than any other nation. All of our good deeds are ignored, as are the attrocities of our enemies. The Nazi's killed 11 million people in their concentration camps, but the only ones we ever hear about are the 6,000,000 Jews. They were not the only victims of genocide. And how about the Japanese? Nobody ever talks about their war crimes - like the Rape of Nanking; or the slaughter, torture, & enslavement of thousands of Koreans; and forget the brutal execution of American POW's. Don't believe me, go to the library and borrow some books! For all the critics of the United States of America (the greatest nation on earth)and her proud military (which always fights a noble cause against true evil) - you can all stick it where the sun don't shine!!! HOOAH!

Thank You for a great site. Thanks to all that supported us and continue to. I was with 3/41 Inf. 2nd Armored Division from Ft. Hood, Tx. Again, Thank you to everyone.
As we approach the 10th anniversary of Saddam's invasion of Kuwait, let us all realize we live in a better world because of the international community's willingness to respond to such aggression. The events surrounding the war changed my life more than anything before or since.
awsom sight love it hope to see more new stuff latter
Interesting Guestbook. I don't quite understand the childish profanity--I would have thought that anyone who really saw any combat would have a more mature and philosophical perspective on war. I know it did for me--I flew medevac (Dustoff) helicopters in Vietnam at 19 years old and again in Desert Storm at 43. True combat veterans feel that you haven't lived until you've almost died, and for those of us who have almost lost it, life take on a flavor the protected will never know. Desert-Storm.com is a very good website.
just doing a book report on a conflict that I was a part of

To the people of the World: This is the story that must be told of an Iraqi baby, not very old. Lying in her crib one star lit night How could she know of those planes in flight? She lay there quietly touching her nose, Watching her mobile, wiggling her toes, Oohing and cooing, so sweetly is she, Talking to someone, who could it be? An angel is standing with her in the room. The baby is smiling, unaware of her doom. The crib starts to shake and the mobile goes round. And suddenly comes a most deafening sound. The ceiling drops in, in a second or two ... On top of her crib so she ceases to coo ... No one knows how long she lie there Who thought about it ? doesn't anyone care? Is she alive ? is she dead ? Is she in any pain? Now that you mention it, who knows her name? Her name is Amal. In English we say Hope. Crushed between the rubble, her tiny fingers start to grope. Where is my mommy ? I love her so dear Come, get me mommy ! It's dark in here! I'm scared and I'm hungry and I can't see my feet. There's blood in my mouth! Give me something to eat! Where is my daddy ? Where's my big brother? It hurts when I breath ! Where is my mother?! How long have I been here ? Is this just a dream? I open my mouth, but can't even scream. That angel appears once again to my side, This time with a tear I plead Why have I died? Am I alone in my sufferings ? No, there are many others. In our grief and our misery, we are sisters and brothers. Who are we ? I ask you ... for what crime did we die? They're throwing a party ! Doesn't anyone cry?! Is it True ? Am I nothing ?! How could it be? Don't they also have babies, just like me? It is war they say, of which death is part. How blind they've become, How hardened of heart. Did someone say hero ? To whom do they speak? A victory claimed for killing the weak?! Why are they happy ? Why are they proud? Don't they know that I'm cold in my burial shroud?! No war has been won; No ifs, buts, or maybes, They've Only Killed Babies!!!! Signed Me, An Iraqi Baby

Great web site! Thanks for allowing me to visit.
For those of you out there who don't want to put up with some of the childish comments that I have seen on this page there is another good page out there. When I recommend a Gulf War web site this is the one I recommend first, gulfweb.com. I am not saying that this isn't a good web site, it used to be, until the "children" started to play on it. Maybe one of these days those people will realize just what sacrifices those of us that have served in the military made, just so they could act and say the things they do. To the "children" out there, just remember that all of us who have served has lost something just to gaurentee you the freedom to act the fool. So the next time you want to act the fool, remember to thank the veteran that lost a arm or a leg or his life, so that you can freely be a fool. 'nough said.

I really like this site. It's like an outlet for some of us. I am diagnosed with PTSD and am sick all the time (non-diagnosed illness). It is good to hear from other Saudi Vets. Thanks
I saw a movie lastnight called "Thanks of a Greatfull Nation" I could not belive how close to my life that movie really is. I left my pregnant wife and 18 month old son on Dec 4 1990,went to Bahrian as part of NMCB 74"s advanced party(thats Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 74,Seabees). On 14DEC90 I went to Ras' al Mishab Saudi Arabia. I was lost in a strange land, the sun would come up then the smoke from the oil fires would make the sun go away. One night we got an alert over the compound P.A.--"GAS-GAS- OH MY GOD GAS!!!!!.This thing was real people.I dont make this stuff up. One night I and Eddy Dudley had to wait and sign for(of all things) a delivery of sand. At the intersection of the highway into Kuwait and the M.S.R. 18 trucks delivering sand in the middle of the desert! I didn't question it, we just did it. I wasn't too thrilled when one of the expatriated Kuwaiti drivers got his rig stuck and I got even more uneasy when during a conversation, he touched my M-16. Kuwaiti or not that rifle was mine and my defence. I didn't shoot him but I did make him keep his distance! I hailed down some Marines in somesort of a tank repair vehicle who pulled the stuck 18 wheeler out, I signed for the sand and went back home. I could type till I'm blue in the fingers, but what I really want is for the men of N.M.C.B. 74 to be recognized for what we did. I came home to Gulfport Ms. to learn my wife was porking a 17 year old long hair who was too @@$#! to serve but I guess he was a better man than I. (she was a tramp anyway). Please add N.M.C.B. 74 to the Units Deployed list. If you have any questions please contact me 2cycleju@bellsouth.net----(904)724-7186 or Waco Renshaw(a.k.a. Ratchet) 401 Monument Rd. Jacksonville Florida 32225 We did'n ask to go or kill but we as Gulf War Veterans got that bastard out of Kuwait, that was our mission and we did it! I want to say thankyou ot the men who were in front of me and those behind. I was right in the middle. If not for you it could have gotten uglier! U.S.Navy Seabees,CAN DO!

Really great website. Great pictures and detail. I only wish that we could end the suffering caused by Gulf War Syndrome. We really need to find a cure, and fast, before it is too late.
I served in Desert Storm as a dismount infantryman aboard the Bradley. I fought on the frontlines with the 3rd Infantry Division attached to the 1st Armored Division, out of Germany. I saw plenty of death and did alot of killing, but I guess it was either me or the enemy. Like my drill instructors used to say "kill or be killed" or "stay alert to stay alive", very true. I thought this was a great site, I salute each and every veteran of all wars, job well done. I would like to recognize Spc Cash who fought proudly and died bravely alongside me and my other fellow comrades, I honor you. War to me truly was censored and a nightmare, but I would definitely do it again if I were called upon, I guess thats what being in the infantry does to a person's way of thinking. I'm surprised how many different types of people really enjoyed this site whether military or civilian. I really appreciate everybodys support.
I hate my dad
Very nice site contributed to the veteran. I enjoyed my visit to your site and will be back. I have many asking about the veterans that served in Desert Storm. I spent over 40 years in Graves Registration and have all the Graves Registration units listed along with all the temporary cemeteries. I have also linked your site with mine at www7.50megs.com\gerlachcw\link\data.htm when you care to visit. I have one question, maybe someone can answer. What happens to our flag in the Panama Military Cemetery now? We have fought so hard for so long to keep the peace and freedom? They were veterans too that sacrificed much to reach the stages of FREEDOM we are at today. Keep up the great work here on your site. Thanks and God Bless You, Charles
I feel so intimidated! All these huge Guestbook responses. Anyway, this site really helped me with a storyboard I'm doing on Desert Storm. Mainly focusing on the tanks, fighters, and naval units. This site is great, so keep it up. And just so you guys don't think I'm some little 3rd grader, I hope you'll be glad to know I'm in 8th grade and I'm 13. Thanks.
I am currently in A Co, 2-7 Cav, 1CD. I was not in the war, but I have been to Kuwait for a rotation. I am an E-5 in the Army and have a lot of peers that served in the war. It is sad to hear them talk about the Army as it used to be compared to the way it is today. All they talk about is if the U.S. were to go to war today we would sustain too many casualties than the recruiters could bring people in. I don't know how to stress the importance of combat readiness to these new troops. They are lazy, irresponsible, and lack initiative. I blame it on Nintendo and Playstations. Oh well, enough of that. I would just like to thank all of the veterans that served in the Gulf War.
I really like this sight. I served with the 20th Special Operations squadron in the Gulf War and I just wanted to say I really appreciate this website. I do not appreciate the people that use this website to play games. People fought and died for this great country and these people have the nerve to disrespect them. It is shameful. Also, I served with some men with the SAS and they are some of the finest I worked with. But do not question the actions of the US in the Gulf War. I am sorry we killed some British soldiers due to friendly fire, but it was an accident. Due respect needs to be paid the British for their quality of contrubution to the conflict, but don't forget who did most of the fighting. Godbless to all those veterans. "When you go home, tell them of us and say; for your tomorrow we gave our today"
THis is a fine website you have constructed. I am presently doing a presentation on Special Forces participation in the Gulf War and the air war and so I decided to take a look at this. Great job and keep up the good work
It's a pity that you seem to have excluded the great efforts of other nations. While America did provide a very large contingent, it is an insult to other countries to ignore their contributions. We Brits went out and lost a lot of our boys(see the a10 thunderbolt friendly fire incident for one), and it's very disappointing that you can be so parochial as to ignoreour, and others' contributions.
I served with the 27th Eng (CMB)(ARB) at Ft. Bragg Nc. I spent oh I guess 8 months in Saudi and Iraq up near Rafa and objective Al-salman Airfield. It was at this airfield that several of young brave men from Aco 27th Eng lost their lives to a terrible mining accident. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about these men....Capt. Fajardo, Pfc King, Ssg Smith Sgt. Harris, Lt Plunk and Cpl Delgado (spelling is off). What I witnessed in that accident forever changed my life and reminded me very quickly that I was at war. I would love to talk to the family of any of these soldiers and I would love to talk to any soldiers that were involved in the accident at Al-Salman Airfield. I never have had a chance to speak to the families of these young men. During the War I was a medic; I am going to list some names in hopes of reaching some of you High speed Medics out there, Newsome, Steven Smith, Jim Bailey (im sorry about the eye) Zanoff, Campo(do they have internet in Mexico?) Peterson (are you out?) And of course SSG Shukla... Outside the Platoon... My best friend Eric Leathers..Were did you disappear to? Colonel Sharky and Col Flowers (probably both Generals) these me are the best leaders ever. I would love to hear from SSG Zingermann, Capt Rahn (SF?) . This is a great site and it is so important that people talk years later. Ft Bragg Smoke Bomb hill 27th Eng and Jumping at night...Thanks for all the memories. Two last things; The trees at the memorial outside the chow hall have really grown. I will never forget any of you. Spc. Sean Harrison (doogie) (cherry)

Your site is well done. My son, Tom, served with MI BN out of Ft. Bragg from Desert Shield to Desert Storm. Are we proud of him and his service? You betcha! And proud of all those who served at the same time in any capacity. Well done, young warriors!!!! An old vet from the Korean era! Ray Streib Fairfield, California
I was a Kuwaiti student studying in the US at the time. I volunteered to help US forces with interrogating Iraqi soldiers. I was with the 519th MI out of Ft. I have been in the Army now for 8 years, this month my little sister (18) will be leaving for basic training. And today she asked me... " Don't you think it is sad that soldiers are willing to die for their country.. And most people don't even appreciate it? Is'nt that a waste?" I think too many people today harp about freedom & the horror of war.. maybe those same people need to visit a Communist country? Or better yet be a US soldier visiting a Communist country.. AND watch how they fall to our feet crying and begging for our help..... To all fellow Soldiers, Veterans and their families. I thank you for the freedom I have and am Proud of the freedom you have entittled people all over the world!
I'm an ex fighter, I was one of the best I'm now a little screwd up in the head and get things confused. Ho;d on Marge. It is very helpful to see this web site, for me was very helpful i onderstand now the WAR in Gulf! Thanks..
it was helpful. Could you send any addtional information that you have? THe p.ow. thing was not coming up for me and it would be very helpful because i am doing a huge war report that's due like next week.
I needed some information for my report and this site was the best help thaks a ton!
My stepson servered in the Gulf War. He was with the Oklahoma National Guard and went into Iraq. He had our full support, we were in alocal support group and went to every Support Rally in the state and were there to meet him when his unit returned home. There arn't words to describe how we feel about him and all those who served so proudly.
My son, nephew, numerous cousins, and many of my son's friends served in the Persian Gulf. I have many wonderful letters from those boys (and girls) telling of their experiences and copies of LAGRGE phone bills, pictures, etc they sent. Thank God they all came home alive! I had my own support group at a VFW in Davison, MI. My biggest supporters were Vietnam vets, bless them all!!
I'd like to hear from all the people who served with my sons, Peter E. Curry,USA and CAPT Timothy J. Curry,USMC in the Gulf War. I'm their Mother and I'd like to surprise them with a note from anyone who might read this note who served in their units during the Desert Storm! I'd like to give it to them as a present. Hope to hear from someone who knew the boys and served with them.
My name is Bob Baker I was 24 when I was sent over to Saudia Arabia. I was with the 1st Battalion 8th Marines Alpha Company. Yes I was in the infantry, and yes I was in the middle of all the fighting. Yes I did have to kill. Not a day goes by that I don't think of that poor Iraqi soldier. For all of you out there that says war is not right, well maybe you are right. But how dare you come on here and try to talk tough when most of you have no idea what it is like to stair at another humans face not more than 5ft away and have to kill him. Most of you who think you know it all should try joining the Marine Corps, then lets see how tough you are. SEMPER FI
I'm glad I was able to support the "STORM" as part of USAFE/CE Readiness.

Good looking page guys, It's been 9 years since I was in Kuwait, (was there during the war) My father and I were trying to get out of Kuwait and Iraq. It was a remarkable experience.
Thanks. It's a really nice page. It's good for historical facts, too.
Thanks for the help on my homework assignment. This sight was really great.
I really think that the people who hate war are just avoiding what is inevitable. War is going to happen even if "world peace" happens. It won't, but you keep on thinking that it will, ok. Now, to talk about your web site. It is very well set up and I think you got all the aspects of war across and hopefully soon, the people who think "world peace" will happen will come to their senses and realize that it won't. Your site helps out in that area. Thank you for posting this page.
Great site,but I hate war.
I HAVE TO MAKE A HOMEWORK. YOU HELPED ME. THANX.
A truly outstanding site!!! I was not in Desert Storm, separated a year earlier. My last unit was HHD 558th USAAG, Elefsis Greece. While the deployments and fighting took place, I often had flash backs reminding me of the many remarkable individuals who I served with during my stay in the Army. Entering service as a shy 17 year old, I left 11 years later as a 29 year old Staff Sergeant who thought he knew it all. My readjustment and employment problems are nothing compared to what you went through. I pray for you-and our leaders to wise up and fix the dishonesty of the system that has been of inadequate support to you. I thank those who led me, kicked me in the ass, fed me, and took care of me and made me the man that I am. My two children (Michael 8, and Katie 5), depend on me to "toe the line" and make it right. I thank you so much for instilling positive beliefs in me. There isn't a day when I don't think of someone, and wonder if they came home ok. I am extremely proud of our military, we have the best in the world....simply a shame of the administration who has failed on their watch to properly keep up pay and other morale issues!! So, for my fellow brothers and sisters, this bud's for you!!! Sincerely, Ed Hutton Former SSG HHD 558th USAAG HHD 559th USAAG HHD 528th USAAG USACC-Fort Rucker, Ala E Co 701st Maint BN, 1st IDF (Forward) Boblingen FRG 1978-1980
My dad may have not been in Desert Storm, but his men were in the war and died for this country. he was in 8/23rd Red Horse squad in Hulbert Field. if any men or women was in Red Horse out of Hulbert that knew Sgt. Bill Vick...I don't exactly know if that is right, but if you remember him please e-mail me. In my point of veiw...War is what this world is and War is how it will end...so why stop it...

IT REALLY BUGS THE censored OUT OF ME TO SEE ALL THESE LITTLE QUEERS GET ON HERE AND TALK ABOUT HOW MUCH THEY HATE WAR. WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF WE WOULD HAVE JUST KICKED BACKED AND NOT JUMPED IN WW1 OR WW2? WE WOULD ALL BE SPEAKING GERMAN NOW WOULDN'T WE? WHY DON'T YOU PEOPLE STOP BEING SUCH BITCHES AND GIVE A LITTLE FOR YOUR COUNTRY, FOR YOUR COUNTRY HAS GIVEN YOU FREEDOM. ANOTHER THING THAT CHAPS MY ASS IS ALL THIS BAD TALK ON OUR GOVERNMENT, WE HAVE THE BEST ONE IN THE WORLD YET PEOPLE STILL COMPLAIN, STOP BEING SO censored SELFISH. I AM ONLY 17 YEARS AND I BET I HAVE MORE BALLS THAN MOST. IF YOU DON'T LIKE WAR STAY OFF THE censored WEB SITE! LITTLE BITCHES.

I Think this site is a great dutty of journalism I also think that u may translate it to other languages such as spanish because the information in spanish about this war is too reduced and difficult to find (I think someone is hiding the information) that i think was cruel and I´m not agree with any part that entered on this war, because wars will lead us to destruction while friendship will lead us to the uthopy that everybody wants to live in.

Hi. Did You(yes You) see the "Three kings"-movie? Did You like it as much as I did? The thrill the real-life-action. Do You hate wars as much as I do? And in a way still can't stop lovin' it? Contact me. The wars are horrible, but still we must accept it's importance. We are growing in number fast. There must be a way of death in parallell with the way of life. If not by plagues - by war... You see the forces of nature are powerful and the balance here on earth must be, by any means. Here in Sweden and other contries we're being fed by the war-movies and... I don't really know what I wan't to say with this letter. I love war(war-movies like Three kings) because it makes You feel like You're alive. I'm not beggin' for war... but without war we wouldn't be.. happy? If I was to be particiated in a war, I know I would never survive, primary psycologically. At last, I'll try not to forget the lost people of the Desert-Storm operation or any other war. I think a lot about such things. The sadness. We're all both sick sons of bitches and beautiful beings. The truth is out there indeed, but I don't belive we'll be able to find it for a while(in the far future. We will have to find a way just like mrs Rosalise Lou writes, listed further down the list. Anyway, I'd like to have a Heckler&Koch MP5SD nearby... just in case. How many years do You guys think we have to wait? Nice site.

Hellau? Yes Hellau! Is this the pentagon? Yes we have no Bananas? Good looking site, good contents. Maybe a better looking layout would be nice?

Iam a GW vet. I am proud to have served my country. The ensuing illness is a byproduct of the service I volenteerd. You can not expect to serve your country and not be at risk. I feel that our country did its best giving us the tools to win with such a low casulity rate. I am happy to be here with my family.I would do it again if it was needed.
I don't like war.I feel very sorry for those that was hurt in the war.Why don't people just stop fignting. In personal opinion, American should do more things that are really good for the world peace.Of course,China and other countries should also do it's duty for the world peace!

I'm writing this in honor of my husband Lyle. Right now he's sick with GWI and he feels that no-one cares or believes him and he's very angry. He also served in Vietnam. Both Wars were two, to many. I'm very proud of him even if he isn't very proud of himself or our Country anymore. He only did as he was told and I know that someday it will be better for all of us or at least I pray it will. Every Veteran has earned their title to be called an "American". God Bless each and everyone of them for they are the one's who (in my opinion) know the true meaning.

With each friend we lost in the war I felt large pieces of me were ripped out from me, taken unwillfully! and did not imagine life could ever be as it was before. I see things different now, but I feel such an intense, phenomenal strength of spirit which has risen from this tragedy. Not that anything could take the pain away ever. . . but truly many amazing souls have emergered and formed a bond which could never be touched, broken, or lost. I honor you. It brings back alot of memories. People dont understand that total cost payed was not just in dollar amounts, lives were changed for ever. Some nights, I forget were I am at and it takes a second to remember that I am home now. The war cost me my wife of ten and half years. If I had to do again nowing what the real cost would be, I would gladly stand up and defend the beliefs of my country.

My uncle was in desert storm and was late getting home. I'm sorry to all those families whose family never came home.
I really enjoy your site. But I see there are no MLRS pictures on here. I did 4 years with A13FA at Ft. Stewart and worked on them. I didnt go to Desert Storm but went to Kuwait in April 96 for Training and seen what all happened over there. God Bless all of our Vets.
